Step-by-Step Benefit Eligibility Check

  • You or a member of your team who has a Microsoft Visual Studio paid subscription can go to their Visual Studio "Benefits" landing page: https://my.visualstudio.com to check.
  • Scroll through the cards until you see the “Training by Tim Corey” card.
  • If the card is not there, the VS subscription is not eligible for a discount. 
  • Several factors influence which benefits Microsoft provides on each paid subscription. Only one member of your team needs to be eligible to score the 50% discount for the entire team. At $375 off per person, it may be worth checking around.<

Making A Purchase

  1. On the Visual Studio subscription landing page, click on the “Benefits” tab at the top
  2. Scroll through the cards until you see the “Training by Tim Corey” card.

Before proceeding, be aware that clicking the "Activate" link passes a token from Microsoft to us that is good for only 15 minutes and is not recoverable. Please read through the steps below before proceeding so you know your options.

  1. Click the Activate button*, which will navigate you to the business.iamtimcorey.com benefits redemption page.

  1. Enter the number of seats you would like to purchase and click the “Buy” button.
  2. Enter the required information in the FastSpring purchase form and click the “Pay” button. Alternatively, you can select the "Quote" icon as the payment option to get a link to a quote that can be shared with your purchasing department for processing. The Quote will retain your discount pricing and is good for 30 days. 

  1. When the purchase is completed, an email with further instructions will be sent to the email address entered in the purchase form.

(*) When you click on the Activate link for the deal, you have 15 minutes (Microsoft's rule, not ours) to complete the purchase with the discount. If you need more time, you can proceed along the purchase process, but when you get the purchase pop-up from FastSpring (our payment platform), select the Quote icon instead of the credit card icon.
